Kismet Drama offer weekly acting classes to aspiring actors
from ages 10 to 100

We teach an organic style of acting where acting is about reacting'and being truthful in the moment whilst living in the Imaginery circumstance.
Many of our Kismet students are also represented by
'Buckland and Gun', talent agency.
Many of our students have had professional work in film and television.

Carina Gun
Owner / Teacher
Dip T - Teaching, Grad Dip - Counselling (Registered Teacher)
Carina has run Kismet Drama for 16 years and is a qualified teacher with over 40 years of teaching experience. She has taught in school classrooms, Special Education, PE and Drama.
She is a professional actor and is the founder of 'Buckland and Gun' Talent Agency, formally known as 'AAA Talent Agency', training and working with professional actors in the theatre, film and television industry.
Kismet was founded by Carina and Nick Buckland.
Chris Gun
Relief Teacher
Chris is a professional and experienced actor in both Film and Stage who has been teaching with Kismet Drama for 8 years. He has worked training actors for professional work with 'Buckland and Gun' Talent Agency and studied at MAPS - Film Making School. We are fortunate to have Chris teach our Tuesday adult class. Have a look at his acting podcast, 'Go Pluck Yourself'.
Lexie Dryden
Tuesday Kid's Teacher
Lexie is a professional actor who is on the books with 'Buckland and Gun'. She also runs a business, called, 'Autism Inspirattions' where she works as a positve behaviour support practioner and Autism specialist consultant. We are fortunate to have Lexie teach with me in the Tuesday Kids class.
Nick Buckland
Talent Agent from
'Buckland and Gun'
Nick is one of the founders of Kismet Drama and is a professional and experienced actor in both Film and Stage. He is a director of 'Buckland and Gun' Talent Agency training and working with professional actors in the theatre, film and television industry. He runs Sucti Productions' which producers films, music videos and theatre. Kismet students are often referred to Nick to be represented by Buckland and Gun.

Acting For the Stage
The annual schedule is meticulously arranged with a sequential plan for the entire year. This leads us to the 'Demo Performance,' at the end of term 3 and then to film acting in Term 4.
We tailor our approach to each student's unique level, consistently expanding their capabilities. Additionally, we introduce fresh acting skills each year. In the upcoming year, some of our focus will center on the nuances of 'character' and the exploration of 'emotions'.
